Angie Baker
Social Media Lead
I work on the charity’s social media, posting about events, projects, club activities and member achievements. I love taking photographs too so you’ll often see me with my camera at events and activities!
Sam Barlow
Founder & Chief Officer
I support the ever-growing footprint of the charity, and make sure that our structures are robust and sound, that our staff and volunteers are valued, and that we always deliver the unique Fitmums & Friends systems to the highest of standards.
Barrie Cracknell
Lead Athletics Coach
As well as coaching athletes, I support our large team of coaching staff by organising sessions, staffing and training. I also ensure coaching standards and best practices are met so that we deliver a consistently high quality of coaching.
Rachel Eaton

My role is to spread the word about Fitmums & Friends. We look for all opportunities to share news about our activities and how we can help people be more active and feel more connected.
Ally English
Volunteer Administration Support
My main responsibilities are maintaining the events calendar on the website, organising cross country events, helping with 10 to Teens sessions, and any other administrative duties that might be needed.
Heather Gibson
Programme Coordinator
I manage our Together in Grief, Together in Grief – The Forest Project, and Let’s Get Going programmes. I work with partners and participants to promote, organise and deliver sessions.
Laura Gulley

I am coordinator of our In the Pink and SocialEyes programmes. In the Pink offers support to anyone who needs a helping hand to be more active; SocialEyes provides fitness activities for Visually Impaired people.
Vickie Hillier

I support the overall charity and love the variety that my role brings. I get to see lots of different people and hear some wonderful stories about how being a part of their local club or project has improved people’s lives.
Denise Robinson
Project Support
I provide admin and project support. In particular, I manage the shop orders and support our junior athletics sessions. However, we are a small team, so I often turn my hand to whatever needs doing!
Julia Sutton
Finance Lead
My role covers all aspects of finance, from paying bills to providing financial information for grants and funding. I sometimes think finance is the boring bit, but it means the charity can do all the amazing things we do!
Wendy Williams
Overarching Welfare Lead
The OWL role includes supporting our Club Welfare Officers and the Mental Health Champion Coordinator, welfare recruitment, leading on serious welfare issues, and developing and reviewing welfare-related polices.
Tony Sutton
Trustee
I truly value Fitmums & Friends’ core principles: I believe in the benefit of physical activity, but the real power of Fitmums & Friends is its inclusivity, welcoming environment and breadth of activity on offer, which I find truly inspiring.
Sue Lee
Trustee
I love the inclusive approach of Fitmums & Friends and the fact that there is something for everyone: running, walking, cycling, even singing; and everyone, regardless of ability, truly is welcome and supported.
Phoebe Broad
Trustee
As a mum myself, I’m passionate about mums being able to get the support and friendship they need to help them through parenthood. I love that Fitmums & Friends offers this, and companionship and opportunities to all sorts of people in our communities.
