Blackburn Leisure Community Club provide a "safe haven" facility for Fitmums & Friends members.

If any member gets into difficulty whilst out on a run in Brough they may visit Blackburn Leisure Community Club and know they will be welcomed and supported. All staff are aware of this “safe haven” service which offers:

Place of safety (for whatever reason)

Shelter from severely inclement weather

• Access to a toilet
• A milestone marker/catch up point
• Access to a telephone for emergencies
• Access to water to top up water bottles
