Humberside Fire and Rescue, Larsen Road Fire station, provide a "safe haven" facility for all Fitmums & Friends members.

If any member gets into difficulty whilst out on a run, they may visit the fire station and know they will be welcomed and supported.

All staff at the fire station are aware of the “safe haven”. The service offers:

• Place of safety (for whatever reason)
• Shelter from severely inclement weather
• Access to a toilet
• A milestone marker/catch up point
• Access to a telephone for emergencies
• Access to water to top up water bottles
