Juniors

What is 10 to Teens?

The 10 to Teens session focuses on all athletic disciplines; running, throwing and jumping with the aim of advancing skill development of the run, throw and jump techniques. A focus remains on agility, balance and co-ordination, essential to support the development of young athletes. As always sessions are devised to be fun, helping to keep young people engaged with this physical activity offer. Appropriate warm-up activities and stretching are incorporated into sessions in order to teach young athletes the principles of safe exercise.

Sessions are £2 per week, payable at week 1 for the whole term. We allow children trying their first 3 sessions to pay per week initially. After 3 sessions a junior membership is required and the cost for this is £11 per year. The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Children joining Jan-March do not need renew in April. A membership form should be completed and then members will receive a membership card.

Tuesdays 6pm - 7.15 pm at St Mary's College, Cranbrook Ave, Hull.

During the winter the sessions take place in the Old Sports Hall, and from Spring sessions are outside on the field weather permitting.

No need to book, please just turn up in active clothing (no jeans) and with a drink of water.

Welfare & Wellbeing

Each junior session has a Welfare Officer and we also have overarching Welfare Leads for the charity as a whole and they can be contacted welfare@fitmums.org.uk

A welfare policy exists to support the wellbeing of all members including young people. In addition a code of conduct policy sets out behaviour expectations of members, parents, coaches and it is essential that children and parents/guardians read these code of conducts. These can be viewed HERE
