VJs Art Bar kindly provides a "safe haven" facility for all Fitmums & Friends members.

If any member gets into difficulty whilst out on a run in York they may visit VJs Art Bar and know they will be welcomed and supported. All staff are aware of this “safe haven” service which offers: 

• Access to a toilet
  
• Shelter from severely inclement weather
  
• Access to a telephone for emergencies
  
• A milestone marker/catch up point
  
• Place of safety (for whatever reason)
  
• Access to water to top up water bottles. 
  

VJs Art Bar can be found at 1A Finkle St, York YO1 8RW and is open:

• Monday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
  
• Tuesday-Thursday: 10:00am -11:00pm
  
• Fri-Saturday: 10:00am - 1:00am
  
• Sunday: 11:00am - 6:00pm
