Together in Grief – The Forest Project is a free, group programme which uses outdoor forest activities and bereavement support to help children and young people who have experienced the death of a loved one. To date, the programme has helped more than 70 children and young people.

To give participants an insight into what to expect at the Forest Project sessions, we have created The Forest Project storyboard. Cartoon drawings, styled in a comic book layout, together with short explanations of what happens in the forest, make it easy to understand and appropriate for both younger and older children. 

We hope it will make children feel more excited and less anxious about coming along to their first Together in Grief – The Forest Project session.
