The COVID-19 task group, along with club coordinators, delivery groups and leader teams, continues to work hard to prepare for Fitmums & Friends clubs reopening. We are making good progress and expect to have a number of clubs reopening by the end of the month. Please look out for further updates explaining when and how this will happen. Each of our clubs is working at its own pace and will reopen when the time is right for its members, volunteers and local community – this means that not all clubs will reopen at the same time.
We had a great response to our recent survey asking how members feel about returning – many thanks to everyone who completed it. The input is informing our planning and the questions raised will be answered in our reopening FAQs which will be shared as clubs reopen.
For now, members can continue to stay active with our extensive range of virtual sessions on Zoom and Facebook Live in our Fitmums & Friends Virtual Sessions Facebook group. For those who would like to improve fitness and confidence before coming back to club sessions, we have a Return to Running/Walking session on a Thursday evening.
If members are back out socially-distanced running with others, we ask that you follow all guidance and to be considerate of anyone you meet.
