Coached track sessions at Costello Stadium in Hull will be back in 2025!
They will take place once a month on a Saturday at 10am.
These sessions are suitable for everyone - you will run or walk with others of a similar pace so that you can encourage each other. You will work at a pace that will stretch you a little and will increase your ability to run/walk for longer at a faster pace.
The sessions are included in your Fitmums & Friends membership, but we do ask for a contribution of £1.50/session to help cover the costs of hiring the track.

Benefits of track sessions
- The track is booked exclusively for our use so other groups will not be using the track.
- You will run/walk in pairs or small groups with others of a similar pace so that you can encourage each other.
- The coached session enables you to have a full warm up which will include movement drills.
- The track is 400m around and so you are never far from the finish line!
- You will have no obstacles to contend with like traffic, pedestrians, dogs, potholes or hills, and this will allow you to concentrate on your pace and your running/walking form.
- The rubber surface of the track is soft and will be easier on your feet and joints than running on pavements and roads.
- You will be working at a pace that will stretch you a little and will increase your ability to run/walk for longer at a faster pace in training or races.
If you have any queries about this session, please contact Coach Barrie at barrie@fitmums.org.uk.
