Track sessions in 2025 for Juniors 10+ years

Posted 9th December 2024

We are excited to be able to offer a NEW coaching experience for our junior athletes in 2025.

Current Fitmums & Friends Juniors members aged 10+ years are invited to join a monthly track session at Costello Stadium which will offer the experience of all the facilities available at a track venue, including high jump, long jump, throws and running on the track.

This session has been made possible thanks to funding from England Athletics which is helping to part-fund the hire of the stadium - and also by the generosity of our coaches who will support this session as volunteers.

Session dates in 2025

All the sessions will take place on a Saturday morning, starting promptly at 10am (and running until 11am), on:

8 February

8 March

The sessions will be at the Costello Sports Stadium, Anlaby Park Road North, Hull, HU4 6XQ where parking is free.

Please bring a water bottle and appropriate layers of clothing. If the weather is bad, we will have access to indoor facilities.

Sessions start promptly at 10am (we only have exclusive use for one hour) - please make sure to arrive for 9.45am.

The track is booked for the exclusive use of Fitmums & Friends for the duration of the session, and we do ask for a contribution of £2.00 to help cover the cost of hiring the track. Payment can be made on the day by card or through the shop on our website. All coaches are working as volunteers.

These sessions may be subject to change, so please check the Fitmums & Friends Juniors Facebook page here ahead of the session in case of any last-minute changes.

There is no need to book - please just turn up.

Parents may leave their child at the session BUT must leave a contact number with coaches on the day.
