Fitmums & Friends is an award winning and growing voluntary organisation with exciting plans to continue its growth in supporting men, women and children to become active. In addition, the organisation has many other strands including a coaching development structure; mental health champions; guide runners; intensive support scheme; an inter-generational choir; and a large volunteer workforce.
Fitmums & Friends has been operational since 2009 becoming a registered charity with a board of Trustees in 2017. It has over 1000 members; 11 clubs across the Humber, North & South Yorkshire with around 200 volunteers delivering sessions.
To help us grow we need experienced members of the public to join our existing Board of four trustees. We are particularly keen to recruit individuals with the following skills and/or experience:
• People management (HR)
• Legal background
Board meetings are held every two months at Fitmums & Friends HQ on Greenwood Avenue, Hull normally on Monday/Thursday evenings between 7 and 9pm.
