Who is this session aimed at?
• Those who know they would like to become a Leader – and have already started the online England Athletics course or will be doing so soon. This training session is an essential part of of the training to become a Fitmums and Friends Leader.
• All existing Leaders – we recommend attending as an update every 3 years. This helps to keep you up to date with work across the charity, inform about any changes to systems, refreshes knowledge and skills and is a great opportunity to network and meet other Leaders.
• Anyone thinking about becoming a Leader – come and join the session as a way of finding out more about the role.
Who delivers the session?
Fitmums and Friends Volunteer Coaches lead this session – they are passionate about helping build our Leader team and have lots of great experience within the organisation which they use to bring this session to life, making it fun, informative and useful.
What to wear?
Please wear active clothing as we do some practical elements – but please don’t worry if you are injured/unable to do this aspect. The course is designed with both running and walking in mind.
