We are excited to reveal a new Fitmums and Friends Club top!

We are delighted to introduce you to our new Club top, designed and developed after listening to member feedback.

Not only does the new top have a different design but they are also made of different materials which better suit those who run longer miles and need a more breathable fabric.  We have also chosen a recycled option to support an environmentally friendly approach to kit supplies.  There are three new types of options available, the price reflected in the different quality of the materials. But don't worry our original pink/blue tops will still be available thus ensuring there is something for everyone.  

Names

Names can be added to tops at the point of order for £1 - these are sublimated into the fabric rather than printed over the top of the vest. Please note that tops ordered with names on are non refundable.  The rules of England Athletics affiliation means that members who compete in licensed events must not wear tops with names on - please be aware of this when ordering.  More details about this below.

PLEASE NOTE for each style of new tops we need a minimum of 10 items to order, and delivery for these items is around 6 weeks.  Please therefore be aware we cannot guarantee an order will be placed until we have 10 items.

Fitmums and Friends is an affiliated club of England Athletics (EA) which means it is officially recognised and registered with the governing body for athletics in England. As an affiliated club the "official tops" must be registered with England Athletics. The two official registered for Fitmums and Friends are now the original pink top and this new design. 

Since the charity pays to be an affiliated club it means individual members can also pay an affiliation fee (which goes direct to England Athletics, not to the charity). This provides various benefits and opportunities for individual athletes such as access to competitions and reduced race entry fees.

However any member who is affiliated to England Athletics and taking part in a licenced event (for which you ticked the discount box as an affiliated member) must wear either of the registered tops which means the original pink or the new design. The rulings of EA also state that members should not have their name on tops when competing as an affiliated member to EA. Please be aware of this when purchasing a top.

Where we have members competing in licenced/national events as a team - it is essential that the whole team wear the same style of top. This could either be the original pink top or the new design. It must just be the same top, please do check before entering any event if you need clarification.
