Fitmums & Friends hits double figures in the Champagne League

For the first time ever, Fitmums & Friends had double figures in the Champagne League, with 10 members lacing up to take part.

Congratulations to Danielle Pinder, Stuart Spencer, Paul Wood, Sue Foster, Joe Healy, Hannah Jarvis, Grace Mudd, Rachel Proctor, Liz Kilgour and Mike Kilgour for proudly representing Fitmums.

All 10 races completed - Five members showed incredible consistency by completing the full series and earning the coveted finisher’s t-shirt: Dannii, Stu, Liz, Sue and Paul.

9 races completed - Rachel, Joe and Grace each completed nine races, with Grace also stepping up to volunteer at the event she couldn’t run. Joe even rocked up on his birthday!

A special mention goes to Stuart Spencer, who delivered an outstanding performance to finish 3rd fastest overall and claim 1st Vet 35.

Champagne League debuts - This year also saw five Fitmums members make their Champagne League debut – a fantastic milestone and hopefully the first of many!

The series wouldn’t happen without volunteers, and Fitmums and Friends played their part here too:

• Martin Peacock volunteered at all 10 races.
• Paul Mudd and Josh Smith gave their time at nine races.
• Sarah Mudd supported at eight races.

Whether running or volunteering, every single member played their part in making 2025 such a memorable year in the Champagne League. A huge well done to all involved!
