Thanks to a wonderful team of volunteer coaches, Fitmums & Friends is able to offer a programme of cross country sessions through 2026.
These sessions are suitable for all: steady runners, speedy runners, 1-mile runners, 6+ mile runners, fitness walkers and Nordic walkers.
Our coaches put bespoke plans together that are designed to meet the needs and abilities of those attending so that everyone works at their own pace and level.
These sessions will add great variety to your training, helping to build strength as well as fitness. They are included free in your membership and are open to members aged 16+.
Most of these sessions take place on a Sunday, and in addition, some of the usual weekly coached sessions facilitated by Cottingham Fitmums & Friends on a Monday evening are relocating to the Westwood too - these dates are also below.
The Sunday sessions start at 10.30am from Beverley Westwood (opposite the race course) and the Monday sessions will start at 18:45 from the same location.
Please ensure you bring water, trail shoes, an extra layer if required and a light rain coat in case of inclement weather.Sunday 11 January 2026
